Race statuses, scratchings and results
What Open, Jumping soon, Suspended, Provisional and Official mean.
Before the jump
Open means fixed prices can be taken. Jumping soon appears in the last five minutes. No fixed price yet means the field is published but prices have not opened — you can read the form but not place a fixed bet.
At the jump
Markets are suspended as the race starts. A suspended selection stays in your slip with the reason, but it can’t be confirmed. We do not offer betting while a race is running.
Scratchings
A scratched runner stays in the field list with a Scratched label so you can see what changed. A bet on a scratched runner is void and the stake is returned.
Results
A provisional result appears a few minutes after the race and can still change, for example after a protest. Bets settle on the official result. If a race is abandoned, bets on it are void.
