Head to Head, Handicap and Total markets
The three main sports markets and how lines work.
Head to Head and Match Result
Head to Head is a straight pick of the winner. In sports with a draw, Match Result has three outcomes: home, draw and away.
Handicap
A handicap adds or removes points from a team before the result is worked out. Harbour Hawks −12.5 must win by 13 or more; Valley Bears +12.5 win the bet if they win or lose by 12 or fewer.
Totals
A total is a line on the combined score. Over 165.5 wins if both teams score 166 or more between them. The line is shown in the middle of the market card, between Over and Under.
