Rules & documents
The responsible gambling information is on its own page.
Terms and Conditions
Version 0.9 (draft)Updated 1 October 2026Pending operator approval
These terms govern your use of BetProfessor and any account you open. Please read them with the Betting Rules and the Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.
1. Who we are
BetProfessor is an online racing and sports betting interface. The legal operator, its licence and registered address are listed in the website footer.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or over and live in a place where the operator is allowed to offer its services. We check your age and identity and may ask for more information before you can withdraw.
You may hold only one account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
3. Your account
Keep your login details private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
Some details — your name, date of birth and verified email — are locked once checked. Contact support to change them.
4. Bets
A bet is accepted only when you receive a receipt with a bet number. Until then it can be declined, for example if a price has changed, a market has closed, or a limit applies.
Prices and availability are confirmed by our servers at the moment of acceptance. A price shown on screen is an indication, not an offer.
How each bet type is settled is set out in the Betting Rules.
5. Deposits and withdrawals
Available payment methods, minimums, maximums and fees are shown in the wallet and can change. A deposit counts towards your balance only once the payment is confirmed.
Withdrawals are paid to a method in your name once your identity is verified. A pending withdrawal can be cancelled while it is pending.
6. Responsible gambling
You can set deposit limits, take a time-out or self-exclude at any time. Lower limits apply immediately; higher limits take effect after a waiting period. A time-out or self-exclusion cannot be ended early.
While a time-out or self-exclusion is active, you cannot place bets, deposit or join offers anywhere on the site.
7. Offers
Each offer has its own terms, period and eligibility, shown in full on the Promotions page. An offer that has ended cannot be activated.
8. Errors and suspensions
If a price or result is shown in obvious error, we may correct it and settle bets at the correct price or void them, as the Betting Rules describe. We may suspend markets or accounts where the law or the integrity of an event requires it.
9. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time through support. Open bets are settled as normal and any available balance is paid to a verified method in your name. Closing an account is not the same as self-exclusion: if you want a break you can’t undo, use the tools on the Responsible Gambling page.
10. Inactive accounts
If an account has no log-in for an extended period, we contact you before taking any step. Any balance remains yours.
11. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact support first and quote your bet or transaction number. We aim to reply within five business days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can refer the complaint to the operator’s licensing authority.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction where the operator is licensed. That jurisdiction is named here once the operator’s details are confirmed.
13. Changes and contact
We will tell you about material changes to these terms before they apply. Questions go to support through the Help Centre.
Privacy Policy
Version 0.9 (draft)Updated 1 October 2026Pending operator approval
This policy explains what personal information BetProfessor handles, why, and the choices you have. It is written to follow the Australian Privacy Principles; the operator confirms the final wording for the launch market.
1. What we collect
Account details you give us: name, date of birth, contact details and address.
Account activity: bets, transactions, limits and the settings you choose.
Technical information needed to run the site securely, such as session identifiers.
2. What we don’t keep in your browser
We never store passwords, tokens, payment details or personal information in your browser’s storage. The betslip remembers only the selections you picked, the prices you saw and the stakes you typed, so it survives a page reload.
3. Why we use it
To open and run your account, settle bets and process payments.
To verify your age and identity and meet legal obligations, including responsible gambling and anti-money-laundering checks.
To send offers — only if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Sharing
We share information only with providers who help us run the service — for example identity verification and payment processors — and with regulators or authorities where the law requires it.
5. Security
Account data is stored on our servers, protected in transit and at rest. Changes to your account require an active session and a security token.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and transaction records for as long as the law requires after an account closes, then delete or anonymise them.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and to correct it. You can change your marketing choices at any time in your account.
8. Under 18s
Our services are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18; if we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and delete what the law allows us to delete.
9. Where it is stored
Account data is held on servers chosen by the operator. If any provider stores information outside Australia, this policy names the countries.
10. Cookies and browser storage
One cookie is essential: a session cookie that keeps you logged in and ends when you log out or close the browser. Forms carry a security token tied to that session, so nobody else can submit them on your behalf.
The betslip uses your browser’s local storage, under its own name, to remember your selections and stakes between pages. You can clear it any time with “Clear all” in the betslip or in your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt in to.
11. Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your information, contact support first. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
12. Contact
Privacy questions go to support through the Help Centre.
Betting Rules
Version 0.9 (draft)Updated 1 October 2026Pending operator approval
These rules explain how bets are accepted and settled. Where a specific sport or racing rule conflicts with a general rule, the specific rule applies.
1. General
All prices are decimal. A return includes the stake: A$10 at 2.50 returns A$25.00, a profit of A$15.00.
A bet is accepted only on the prices shown on your receipt.
2. Price changes
If a price changes before acceptance, you are asked to accept the new price unless you have chosen in the betslip to accept higher prices or any change automatically.
3. Singles and Multis
A Single is one selection. A Multi combines selections from different, independent events; every leg must win. The total odds of a Multi are the product of the accepted prices.
If a leg of a Multi is void, it is removed and the Multi is settled on the remaining legs.
4. Same Game Multi and Same Race Multi
These combine outcomes from one match or one race and are priced as a single bet by our pricing service. The price is not the product of the individual prices.
If a leg is void, the bet is re-priced on the remaining legs where possible, or voided.
5. Racing: fixed prices
Win pays if the runner finishes first. Place pays if it finishes in the first three (in fields of eight or more) or the first two (in fields of five to seven).
Bets on a scratched runner are void and the stake is returned. Bets settle on the official result; a provisional result is not final.
If a race is abandoned, all bets on it are void.
6. Racing: exotics
Exacta, Quinella, Trifecta and First Four are pooled bets. Dividends are declared after the race. A flexi bet receives the declared dividend multiplied by the flexi percentage.
7. Dead heats
If two or more runners finish level for a paying position, the stake is divided by the number of runners in the dead heat and the full price is paid on that part. For example, A$10 at 4.00 on a runner that dead-heats for first with one other returns A$20.00.
8. Blended
A Blended bet pays at one price if any one of the selected runners wins.
9. Sports: main markets
Head to Head and Match Result are settled on the result at the end of normal time unless the market says otherwise. Handicaps and totals include half-points so that ties cannot occur.
10. Player markets
A player who does not take part makes that selection void.
11. Postponed and cancelled events
If an event does not start within the time set for that sport, or is cancelled, bets are void unless the market was already decided.
12. Resettlement
If a result is changed by the official body after settlement within the period the rules allow, bets are re-settled and the change appears in the bet’s history.
13. Related outcomes
Selections that depend on each other cannot be combined in a standard Multi. Use a Same Game Multi or Same Race Multi instead, where the pricing service accounts for the link between outcomes.
14. Limits
The most you can stake on one bet is shown when you try to exceed it. Limits may vary by market.
